Prisoners and Prison Staff
We believe cell is not hell. The prisoner is human being and must be treated with dignity and respect.
What we do
Improving Prison Conditions
The prisoner is first and foremost, a human being. As such they are entitled to and must receive the best of skill development – basic life skills, vocational training and proper health services while they reform, and prepare to resettle. Improving prison conditions is significant in order to protect society from crime and reduce recidivism. Improving their living conditions is a task we have taken on as duty to our fellow brothers and sisters in the prison system.
Our goal is to provide access to proper formal education and legal training to protect the rights of the prisoner, and safeguard the legal rights of everyone else. We believe that everyone has the right to a fair and speedy trial, the ability to access bail and appeal against undeserved circumstances.
We work together with reformed prisoners and staff dedicated to supporting others to the best of their ability with their resources. We acknowledge that the world has a responsibility to these people, and we accept the challenge to provide them a visible platform to share and inspire for others to emulate.
